Tattooing has been around since human’s discovered that they could use a tool to alter their bodies their likings. From the marks of small designs thought to alleviate joint pain in Ancient Egypt, to the Maku tribal tattoos of honor, family, and spirituality that the indigenous people of New Zealand wear as their culture.  Tattoos are a vessel of identity that stretches across the globe and offers people the ability to turn thoughts, emotions, and ideas into something tangible for all to see (or not to)
